The NTSE test is India's most prestigious exam and part of the government's national scholarship programme. It is not only a matter of scholarship for every student to be recognised as the nation's talent, but it is also a source of great pride and honour. Every year, the NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) is held at two levels: Stage I (State Level) and Stage II (National level) (National Level). States administer NTSE Stage I, whereas NCERT administers NTSE Stage II.
NTSE is open to students of Indian nationality at the class X level, regardless of whether they study in India or abroad, according to CBSE's standards.
Candidates studying in India will be chosen based on their performance in a screening exam Candidates studying abroad with Indian nationality are eligible for the NTSE. They are excused from the first level and are allowed to sit for the second level exam right away.

The NTSE is split into two parts: Stage I and Stage II.
