Every year, the CBSE conducts CBSE Class 12 exams in pen and paper format for students in Class 12; and in the paper mode for students in Class 12. Candidates who have passed their Class 11 exams from any recognized board of education and have studied for a year in Class 12 are eligible to take the CBSE 12th board exams. To enroll for these tests, students must pay the examination fees.

The Board has decided to split the CBSE board exams into two semesters this year. The decision was made to prepare for the possibility of a tense situation as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Because the CBSE was unable to properly administer the board exams in 2020 and 2021, the CBSE 12th Results were determined using internal assessments.

What's New for the CBSE Board Exams in 2022

Board Exams are held twice a year - Starting this year, the Board has decided to go ahead with conducting board exams twice a year. Each term would cover half of the syllabus.
Changes in the Exam pattern - The CBSE Term 1 Board Exams 2022 will be conducted in MCQ format while term 2 exams will be conducted in subjective and objective mode like the exams last year.
Reduction of the syllabus by 30% - Due to the COVID19 pandemic, the schools have been closed and online classes have been taking place. With the delay at the beginning of the academic session, the Board. like last year, has decided to continue with the reduced syllabus thereby reducing the academic burden on students and teachers alike.
